The
Men's Fellowship
will begin meeting again on SATURDAY
MORNING, JANUARY 17 at 8:00 A.M. in the CHURCH
FELLOWSHIP HALL. All men from seniors in high
school on up are invited to join us. A continental
breakfast (muffin, juice and coffee) is provided for
just $2.00. We will be continuing our video series
The Measure of a Man, with Dr. Gene Getz.
Even if you haven't attended before, now is a great time
to jump in. Getting to know some of your brothers
in Christ is a great way to begin the new year.

Allie
will be on vacation...
until January 10. Please hold your
phone calls for her. She and Jeremy will be driving back
from her parents' home in the state of Washington in the next
few days. Pray for their safe travel!

Attention
Super Seniors
Just a reminder to all of the
"students" who will be in Casey Groeneveld's
Bible class. Our first class will be on MONDAY,
JANUARY 12 at 1:00 at the home of Casey &
Phyllis. We are looking forward very much to this
class, learning from Prof. Casey. We will meet the
second Monday of each month. If you are interested
in attending and haven't signed up for the class, call
Casey & Phyllis at 780-3635. |
Youth
For Hire
A reminder to
you...our students are willing to work for their cost of youth
events and programs. No job is too little or big for the
teens. If you or anyone you know has some work or a
project to get done, please consider the teens at Berean to
help. All funds earned go into an account for the
students for a future event. Contact Pastor Rick
(780-4765 or 557-4707).
Service
Cancellations: If you suspect that our worship
service or week night programs may be cancelled due to poor weather
conditions, go to WoodTV 8 or WzzmTV 13 for a list of closings on the
bottom of your TV screen. Or, you may go to their websites (www.woodtv.com
or www.wzzm13.com), click on
"cancellations" and view the list.

Scrip
We earned $168.45 for the month
of December in Scrip. Thanks for buying your gift cards through
the church! There is always someone in the Fellowship Hall after
the service to either sell you cards that we have on hand or to take
your order, which will be available the next Sunday. |
Wednesday
All-Church Family Supper
Food is served from
5:30 until 6:15. All those who attend Berean are invited
to come and enjoy supper together. The cost is $3/person
or $7/family. Reservations are not necessary.
Menu for 1/7: Hamburgers, Potato Salad, Ice Cream.
Parking
Lot Assistance
Board members and
other volunteers will once again assist in parking and
returning cars to the front entrance during the winter
months. They will be available from 9:00 a.m. before and
for 20 minutes after the morning service. The assistants
will work with the greeter and be wearing bright green
vests. Please remain at the door for the driver to
return your key.
