ONLINE WITH GOD is the online prayer line for our church.  When requests are submitted through the church office or by individuals, they are sent out to over 80 members of the prayer line for immediate and confidential prayer.  This is an excellent way to "stay in touch" with your church family throughout the week and to remind you to support each other through prayer.

BIBLE SURVEY  Are you interested in a basic, Bible Survey Class, beginning in the winter months (probably around the first of the year)?  If so, please sign the slip in the bulletin at church and put it in the offering plate or give it to one of our staff.

SWISS STEAK DINNER  The Berean family members are invited to the annual Swiss Steak Dinner to be held on September 4, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Croton Community Church, where Pastor Dwight serves as Pastor (see flyer at bulletin board for more info).

LADIES BIBLE STUDY  On Thursday, September 23 our Ladies Bible Study will resume at the church.  Their study book will be THE ESSENTIALS OF EFFECTIVE PRAYER by Kay Arthur.  The study begins at 10:00 a.m. and lasts for about 1-1/2 hrs.  All ladies are welcome to join them.

PICTURES FOR YOU!  There are some old photos on a table in the Fellowship Hall for you to browse and take.  See some of them that your friends who are not present would like to have?  Feel free to take those and pass them on.

A CASSETTE TAPE OR CD Message tapes are available at the foyer counter after the service.  Tapes/$2.50 and CDs/$3.50.  Put the money in the gray box on the counter.  (The tapes will be available 10-15 minutes after the service.)

-Thank God for the ladies who are involved in the DeColores weekend at Berean and pray they will have a positive, life-changing experience.
- Pray for Meg Baker's father who had open-heart surgery last Tuesday.
- Pray for Aileen Newald's daughter, Ashley, who is having a difficult time after losing her baby daughter shortly after birth in July.
- Wayne Hoffman is home from the hospital but continues to have headaches.  He is receiving out-patient therapy.
- Carolyn Raymond went home from the hospital on Friday after having back surgery.  Pray that the pain from her surgery will be less every day.
- Tony Koteles had a lower lobe of his lung removed on Wednesday due to cancer.  Pray for his healing and that follow-up treatment will not be needed.
- Henry Bont has been very congested because of his congestive heart failure.  He may be released over the weekend.
- Pray for the 37-yr.-old nephew of Tom & Jean Ferris who had a double stroke after a car accident.  Pray for his wife and children as well.
- Pray for others in our church family who are experiencing continuing health problems, that God will be their strength and help day by day.
